Playbox aims to:
- Give every child the chance to develop at their own level
- Give every child the chance to learn through play in a safe environment
- Encourage every child to put down firm foundations for learning through a keyworker system
- Provide the right equipment to encourage the above
- Be available to each child to help them feel special
- Be available to parents/carers during and outside of pre-school hours
- Welcome all parents/carers and try to encourage them to come and help (If you want to!)
- Have visitors to help a child's awareness (If anyone has any talents that would interest small children eg nurse, doctor, fireman, etc.. please share them!)
- Show children and their parents or carers that they are all precious and each one is valued at Playbox
All visitors are made welcome!
In 2004 we received a Herts Quality Standard Award and very good Ofsted report
